Common questions
How does marking differ between Task 1 and Task 2?
The same four criteria, but Task 2 counts double towards the Writing band.
How many words should I write?
At least 150 for Task 1 and at least 250 for Task 2. Writing under the minimum costs marks.
Is my writing used for anything else?
No. Your work is yours: we do not publish it and we do not train models on it. The Privacy Policy sets out the detail.
